Women constables attending menstrual health workshop with menstrual cups 20 June

Menstrual Health Workshop – MP Police Women Constables

A successful menstrual health workshop conducted for 62 newly recruited women constables of Madhya Pradesh Police. All participants tried and adopted menstrual cups, collectively preventing 3.5 tonnes of bio-non-degradable waste from entering the environment. The initiative promotes better hygiene, easier menstrual management for women in uniform, and zero ongoing expenses. This workshop is part of a larger mission to reach 1200 more women constables. The session concluded with a wholesome, nutritious meal shared with the participants in their mess hall.

Menstrual Cup Awareness Camp – Toomda

Held at the Panchayat Bhavan in Toomda village, Bhopal district, this impactful awareness camp introduced 30 women to menstrual cups—helping prevent 1,620 kg of non-degradable waste over 10 years, reducing infection risk, and improving quality of life at zero cost. This initiative addresses the lack of waste collection in rural areas and empowers women through sustainable choices.
