Skill Development Training at Saksham Center

Our comprehensive skilling courses are designed to empower women through a structured approach that combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience.

Course Structure

Foundation Course
This lays the groundwork for women's empowerment by building their confidence, self-esteem, and basic life skills.
Skill Training
We offer a variety of vocational training programs to equip women with the skills they need to start their own businesses.
On-Job Training
This practical component provides women with hands-on experience in running a business. They will be responsible for all aspects of the operation, from sourcing raw materials to pricing, selling, and financial management.
Sustained Coaching for 1 Year
It is seen that most women drop out within few months of starting the project for some reason or the other. We at Saksham plan to keep in touch with them for at least one year and be available to them after that too.

Foundation Course Details

The program goes beyond just teaching skills. It offers a well-rounded curriculum that incorporates life skills development workshops, interactive sessions, and project-based learning. This approach helps participants not just learn skills but also understand how to apply them effectively and confidently.

Through interactive exercises and experiential learning, the Centre will help these women:

Build self-awareness and develop a growth mindset
Understand nutrition and hygiene education
Foster a sense of ownership over their life
Learn to use mobile phones for marketing and accounting
Access online resources to further improve their skills
Practice self-defense and understand safety & security

Mobile Cart Sales: Fresh and shelf-stable food items, snacks, beverages, and pickles
Didi Cafe: Management and operation under Madhya Pradesh scheme

Handmade Products

Stitching, Crocheting, and Knitting for handmade clothing and accessories
Costume Jewelry and home decor items
Product Development: Guide for creating custom product lines

Block Printing Unit

Revival of this dying art from Madhya Pradesh
Training in various styles like Bagh, Dabu, etc.

Drone License Training

Drone piloting and licensing

Home Stay

Training women to host guests in their houses
